We are excited to begin offering holiday themed sustainable craft classes! There are four classes that have dates in November and December. Time slots are 10:00am-11:00pm and 5:30pm-6:30pm.

Beeswax Wraps and Lip Balm  $15  Nov 13 & Dec 9

Create your own plastic-free products. You will learn how to make sustainable beeswax wraps and lip balm. Beeswax wraps can be used in place of plastic wrap, and the lip balms will use clean ingredients and be in compostable cardboard tubes. All participants will leave with multiple wraps/lip balms.

Block Print Stationary  $15  Nov 18 & Dec 2

Explore the art of block print stamping. You will get to carve a block print stamp out of linoleum blocks and choose from our hand carved stamps to create a design for your stationary set.

Hand Poured Candles  $25  Nov 20 & Dec 11 

Learn how to make your own poured soy wax candle. You will create your own scent blend using 100% pure essential oils and hand pour your candle. We use natural soy wax for a cleaner and healthier candle. *Candles take two hours to set. Participants will need to either come back later or another day to get the candle.

Wild Grapevine Wreaths  $40  Dec 16 & 18 

Hand craft your holiday decor this year. We will guide you on how to make a wreath using dried wild grape vines and an assortment of greenery and ribbons for decoration. Each participant will leave with their own wreath that can be reused when the greenery dies. Light refreshments will be provided by the City of Gulf Shores Recreation Department.
