DESCRIPTION:Gulf Shores Gives Back is a powerful\, community-wide day of service dedicated to strengthening the heart of our beautiful city. This annual event brings together students\, educators\, families\, and community members in a shared mission of compassion\, action\, and impact. This event is led by the Gulf Shores City Schools’ Mental Health Advisory Committee\, and in partnership with the City of Gulf Shores\, Gulf State Park\, and the Gulf Center for Ecotourism & Sustainability. \nWe will have a variety of service projects to get involved with\, from tree planting to trail maintenance to gardening. You can choose from the 9:00am-11:00am or 1:00pm t0 3:00pm time slots. You can sign up here

SUMMARY:Hand Poured Candles
DESCRIPTION:Learn how to make your own poured soy wax candle. You will create your own scent blend using 100% pure essential oils and hand pour your candle. We use natural soy wax for a cleaner and healthier candle. This class is on January 22nd in the Swift’s Nest Classroom. *Candles take two hours to set. Participants will need to either come back later or another day to get the candle.
